L&T(Ecc)

We are located out in Narsingh Bandh village, near Burnpur in the Burdhaman district of West Bengal. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but this is where the work is. L&T(Ecc) has a presence here to keep an eye on the local projects. The office is just a simple building that fits in with the rest of the village. We don't have any high-rise views or anything like that. Most of the time, the air is thick with the smell of the nearby industrial areas and the local cooking. We start our days early when the village is just waking up. Our team is small, mostly locals who know the area well. We handle the logistical side of the construction work, checking on materials and making sure the labor shifts are sorted out. The office inside is a bit of a mess with ledgers and site plans scattered about. We use old wooden tables and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound that we’ve all learned to ignore. People from the village often stop by to say hello or ask about jobs. It’s a community-driven atmosphere here. We aren't doing anything fancy, just the everyday grind of keeping the projects on track. It gets very humid in the rainy season, which makes everything feel a bit slower, but we keep pushing through regardless of the weather. It's just what we do to get the jobs done.
