Lalji Patel & Co.

Lalji Patel & Co. is our small outfit on Bagmari Road. We occupy units 305 A and B. It’s a bit of a crowded area, but that’s the charm of it. We’ve been working from this spot for a good number of years. It’s a family-run thing mostly. We don't have a glossy brochure or a big sales team. Usually, it's just one of us answering the phone or helping whoever walks through the door. The building is older, and the stairs can be a bit of a climb, but we like it here. Bagmari Road always has something going on, which makes the days go by fast. We deal with our suppliers and customers the same way we always have—face to face whenever possible. It's about getting the work done and not making a fuss. We've had some of the same people coming to us for years. They know we're not going to give them a sales pitch. We just provide what they’re looking for and call it a day. It’s a lot of paperwork sometimes, which isn't the fun part, but it has to be done. We keep things tidy enough, though there’s always a bit of clutter from the latest shipment. If you’re in the neighborhood, you’ll see our sign. It’s a simple life running a business like this. We just keep going day by day, hoping to do right by the folks who visit.
