Krishna Packers & Movers

Our spot is over here in Bonhooghly, right near the Anandam Cinema Hall. If you know the area, you know how B T Rd can get during the rush hour. It’s a mess of buses and people everywhere. Krishna Packers & Movers is tucked away in Santosh Corner, and it’s a pretty small operation really. We have a few desks and a lot of old ledgers because we still like writing things down sometimes. Packing up someone's whole kitchen or their heavy bedroom set takes a lot of patience. We use a lot of bubble wrap and those thick blankets. The office is usually filled with the smell of old paper and maybe someone’s lunch from the shop nearby. We don’t have any big flashy signs. Most people find us because they live around here or saw our trucks parked near the ISI. Sometimes the rain in Bengal makes the moving schedules a bit difficult, and we have to wait for the clouds to clear before loading the trucks. We’ve been through a lot of monsoons in this building. It’s not a glamorous job, just moving crates and taped-up boxes from one street to another. We try to keep things simple and just get the work finished so we can go home. It’s a noisy neighborhood, but it’s home for the business. We just keep our heads down and handle the heavy lifting.
