Krischem International

At No. 19-U Raja Manindra Road, things stay pretty hectic most of the week. We are located in the Paikpara area, which is always moving and loud. Inside Krischem International, it is mostly about managing the inventory and making sure the paperwork for the various shipments is sorted out. It involves a lot of phone calls and checking the logbooks. The building isn't brand new or anything, so we deal with the usual old-city stuff like temperamental wiring or the constant noise from the street traffic outside. We deal with various chemicals and materials, so there is always a specific, sharp smell in the air when you walk through the door. It is definitely not a quiet office job. We are usually moving boxes around or checking labels to make sure everything is headed to the right place. The tea stall nearby is where we usually end up when things get too loud or stressful inside the office. Working in this part of town means you get used to the heavy traffic on Raja Manindra Road. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the congestion, but we just manage it as it comes. We have been at this spot for a while now. It is a functional space, nothing too flashy, with just enough room for the supplies and the desks. We spend a lot of time just keeping track of the batches. It is basic work, but it takes a lot of attention.
