Down in Jadavpur, specifically at 45/5B/1 Prince Gulam Hussain Shah Road, you’ll find Ko.P.T. It’s a busy part of Kolkata and we’ve been here for quite a while. The Pin code is 700 032. Our office is right in the middle of all the local action. Being in West Bengal, the pace of work is quite specific and we’ve learned how to navigate the local way of doing things. We handle various technical and project-related tasks. The office itself is a bit lived-in, with plenty of files and equipment around. We aren't big on making things look corporate; we just need the space to work. The street outside can be very noisy with the traffic and people going about their business, but that’s just Jadavpur for you. We have a dedicated group of staff who have been with us through many different projects. We often have tea together while discussing what needs to be done for the day. Sometimes we have to deal with the humidity or the monsoon rains which can slow things down, but we find ways to keep the work going. People usually just drop by if they need to talk to us about a project. We don't really do the whole online marketing thing much. We just rely on the work we’ve done and the people we know in the city. It’s a straightforward way to run things and we like staying connected to this neighborhood.
