You’ll find us over at Plot No-2935/4808, Nageswar Tangi, right off Lewis Road in Bhubaneswar. It’s a convenient spot for us to reach different parts of the city when someone has an issue with their lift. Most of our work involves routine inspections to make sure everything is safe and running like it should. We aren't sitting in the office much; we’re usually out with our toolkits at various apartment complexes or office buildings. The office at Nageswar Tangi is basically where we store the heavy equipment and handle the local service calls. Elevators can be tricky sometimes, with electronics that act up for no apparent reason, so we spend a lot of time testing circuits and looking at wiring diagrams. It’s a practical, hands-on kind of life. We don’t go in for corporate polish or anything like that. We just show up, see what’s wrong with the elevator, and get to work fixing it. Sometimes it's a quick fix and other times we’re there all day trying to track down a ghost in the system. We know the local area well and the people here seem to appreciate that we just get on with the job. It’s a lot of grease, a lot of stairs, and a lot of making sure things go up and down without a hitch. That is basically what our days look like here.
