Our office is over on Green Avenue in Santoshpur. It’s right there at Ku Saha 22. We’ve been working on this international city project for a while. It’s a big job and there are a lot of moving parts. Some days it feels like we are just buried in blueprints and planning permits. The Santoshpur area is home for us. We see the construction sites and the progress every day. It’s not always smooth. Sometimes the weather stops things or a delivery is late. We are just a group of people trying to build something that people can actually live in. It’s a mix of office work and being out on the dirt. We aren't polished talkers. We just know how the buildings are supposed to go up. People come by the office to ask questions about the housing and we try to give them straight answers. It’s a lot of coffee and long meetings. The neighborhood knows us by now. We’ve seen the land change from nothing to what it is today. It’s a slow process sometimes, but that’s construction for you. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place to keep the maps and the phones. We live and work right here in Kolkata, so we care about how it turns out. We stay busy and keep the plans moving forward.
