We’ve been at 11, Canal South Road for quite some time now. If you know the Pagladanga area, you know it gets pretty busy around here during the day. Being near the M.G. Road Metro Station helps a lot of the guys get to work on time, even though the traffic on the main road can be a real headache most mornings. We spend most of our day handling various closures and making sure things are sorted right. It’s not a fancy setup by any means. It’s just an honest place where we get the job done. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the daily orders to worry about that. Sometimes the tea stall down the street is the highlight of our afternoon break. We just focus on the work sitting in front of us. Most of the people working here have been around for years, so we all know each other’s habits. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and the sound of the city outside the window. Pagladanga is a tough place sometimes but it’s home for the business. We try to keep things simple and avoid any unnecessary fuss. It’s mostly about checking the stock and talking to the drivers who come and go through the gates. We appreciate when things run smoothly, which isn't always the case, but we manage. That's just how it is here.
