You can find us at 1 Fern Road. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you’re familiar with the Fern Road area. The building has been here for a while and it has that lived-in feel to it. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that, just the usual chairs and tables you'd expect. Our team is mostly local people who take the bus or walk to work. We start the day by opening up the shutters and making sure the waiting area isn't too dusty. Dealing with what we do, things can get a bit heavy sometimes, but we try to keep a calm atmosphere for everyone who walks through the door. Usually, there’s some tea being made in the back room and the smell of it drifts out into the hallway. The street outside can get a bit noisy with the honking, especially in the afternoons. We’ve got some old filing cabinets that creak every time you open them, but they do the job. People come in with a lot on their minds, and we just try to get their details down and show them where to sit. It’s not a flashy place, just a clinic where we show up every morning and stay until the last person leaves. We know the neighbors around here pretty well by now. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door if it's really pouring, but we just put a bucket there and keep going.
