Klystron Electronics Private Limited

We run Klystron Electronics Private Limited out of a place called "Nilkantha" in Block Para. It’s in Gangarampur, which is way out in the Dakshin Dinajpur district of West Bengal. We are basically guests in the house of Bharati Chakraborty, using a section of it for our electronics work. Being on Rabindra Sarani means we are near some other small shops, but it’s mostly a quiet residential vibe. We spend our days looking at circuit boards and small components under bright lights. It’s the kind of work that makes your eyes tired after a few hours. Since we are quite far from the big cities like Kolkata, getting parts can sometimes take a week or more. We just have to plan ahead and hope the courier doesn't get lost on the way. The office is really just a couple of rooms with some workbenches and soldering irons. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to answer the phones in a professional way. Usually, whoever is closest to the desk just picks it up. It’s a small operation, but we’ve managed to keep it going for quite a while now. Sometimes it’s just me and one other person working late into the night. It gets very dark in the village once the sun goes down, so we usually wrap up before the last bus leaves. It is a quiet life here but we enjoy the technical challenges.
