Kings Medical Assistance International Private Limited is tucked away at 135 Uttar Kastadanga Road in Kolkata. If you know the 700061 area, you know it is a mix of homes and small shops. We have been operating from here for a while now, helping people figure out their medical trips and assistance needs. It is a bit of a trek to get out here sometimes depending on where you are coming from in West Bengal. Our office is not anything special to look at. We just have a few desks, some chairs, and a lot of phone calls going back and forth. We deal with people who are usually stressed because they are sick or a family member is in trouble. We listen, we take notes, and we try to find the right path for them. It is not always easy and things go wrong sometimes with scheduling, but we stay at it. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the city center, which is nice when we are trying to concentrate on complicated paperwork. We are not a giant corporation with thousands of employees. It is just a few of us here making sure the medical assistance side of things actually works for the folks who contact us. We handle the boring but necessary stuff like transport and finding doctors. We just keep our heads down and work through the list of tasks every morning.
