We work out of Saraju Bhavan in Kolkata. Our specific spot is Flat C3 at 25/1, K P Roy Lane. This is where we handle the cargo and GSA side of things for the business. The area around 700031 is usually pretty packed with traffic and people going about their business. We aren't in a massive warehouse or an airport hanger; we are just in this residential-style building. It makes the workday feel a bit more grounded. We have a small team here at Ascent Air handling the paperwork for Kingfisher cargo. There are stacks of forms on the desks and the printer is almost always running. We don't have a big sign outside or a fancy entrance. Most of our clients just know the address on K P Roy Lane. The office is a bit old-fashioned, but it suits us just fine. We spend the hours checking flight schedules and making sure the ground transport is lined up. It’s a lot of detail work, and sometimes we get a bit behind when the systems are slow. We don't use big corporate slogans. We just try to make sure the boxes get on the right planes. Being in Kolkata means there is always noise from the street, but we’ve gotten used to it. It’s just a regular office where we do our best to keep the cargo moving through the system as efficiently as we can.
