It’s one of those places that smells like sugar and old wood. We keep rows and rows of those tiny white pills and little glass bottles. We still have the old-style counters and drawers that stick sometimes. The traffic on MG Road is always loud, but once you step inside, it’s a bit quieter. We spend our days filling orders and talking to the regulars who have been coming here since they were kids. Sometimes we don’t have exactly what someone wants right away, so we have to order it in.
