Khimjee Hunsraj

We are located at 9, Rabindra Sarani. It is an old part of the city, and the building we are in really reflects that long history. The stairs are quite narrow and the ceilings are very high, which is typical for this area. We have been here for a long time, and while the neighborhood has changed a lot around us, we mostly stay the same. We handle a variety of trading activities throughout the day. The office is full of old-style ledgers and a couple of newer computers that we are still trying to get used to using properly. Rabindra Sarani is always incredibly loud with car horns and people selling goods right on the sidewalk. We actually like the energy of the place. We are not a big corporation with many layers of management or fancy titles. It is just a few of us making the daily decisions and talking to our suppliers on the phone. We spend a lot of time calling people, often having to shout just to be heard over the street noise coming through the windows. We do not have a fancy reception desk or anyone to greet you at the door. If you come in, you just walk up to whoever looks like they are not too busy. We do not use any business jargon or complicated terms. We just talk plain English and get straight to the point with our customers. This is just how we operate.
