Keventer Agro Ltd. is found at Sagar Estate, specifically in Unit 1 on the 3rd floor. The address is 2, Clive Chat Street. If you know Kolkata, you know that this area has a very old-school, busy feel to it. Clive Chat Street is one of those narrow, bustling places where you see a lot of history in the buildings. Sagar Estate is a big building and we occupy a section on the third floor. Getting up there sometimes means waiting for the old lifts or just taking the stairs if you are in a hurry. The office is always full of people talking on phones or moving files around. It is a very typical city office setup. Outside, the street is always packed with people, vendors, and cars honking. You can smell the street food and the dampness of the old masonry. We have been here for a while, and the routine never really changes. We deal with the agro-business side of things, so there is a lot of paperwork and coordination with our other locations. The rooms are a bit cramped because of all the records we keep, but it works for us. It’s a practical space in a very traditional part of town. We just come in, do the work required for the day, and head back out into the Kolkata crowd. It is a bit loud and messy, but it feels like home to us.
