Kedia Gifts

Kedia Gifts is tucked away on the 4th floor of Bagree Market, specifically in Room No. D419 at 71 Canning Street. If you’ve never been to Bagree Market, it’s a bit of a maze. You have to navigate through crowds and climb up to the fourth floor, which is a bit of a workout if the lift is busy, which it usually is. Once you find our room, it’s packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of gift items. We don't have much space for walking around, so we’ve become very good at stacking boxes. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we’ve been in this specific spot for years. The walls are covered in shelves and there are samples everywhere you look. It’s not a fancy showroom by any means. It’s a working warehouse and office all in one. We spend our days sorting through new arrivals and packing up bundles for customers. The light coming in from the small window isn't much, but we have enough bulbs to see what we’re doing. It’s always a bit loud with the sounds of the market drifting up from below, but we don’t mind. People come to us because they know where we are and they know we just get the job done without any nonsense. We like being part of the history of this building and doing our own thing.
