Kasturi Medical Centre Pvt. Ltd. is situated out on Diamond Harbour Road, specifically near the 3a bus stand in Joka. Being near the bus stand means we get a lot of people coming in from the surrounding South 24 Parganas area. It is a convenient spot for anyone using public transport. The clinic has been around for a while, and the building shows its age a little bit, but it is solid. We focus on providing a place for local families to see a doctor without having to travel all the way into the city center. It is a bit of a trek for some, but for the Joka community, we are right there. The waiting room is usually full of people chatting or checking their phones while they wait for their turn. We have different specialists who come in on certain days of the week. It is a bit of a juggle to keep the schedule straight, but we manage. The staff tries to be helpful, even when things get a little chaotic during the morning rush. We don’t have any high-tech lobby or anything like that. It is just rooms, desks, and medical equipment. We deal with the usual health issues that come up in a busy neighborhood. We like being part of the Joka area and seeing familiar faces return when they need a checkup or some medicine. It is just a normal, hardworking medical center for the people around here.
