We run things out of our office at 9B Nabarag, located at 15 Mayfair Road in Kolkata. It’s a pretty decent spot in the 700019 area. Karam Chand Thapar (Cs) Ltd. has been operating from here for quite a while now. We don't have a giant neon sign or anything like that, just a regular door that leads to our workspace. The street outside can get quite loud with all the Kolkata traffic, especially during the morning rush, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. Inside, it’s mostly just us sitting at our desks, making phone calls, and sorting through piles of paperwork. We keep a kettle in the corner for tea because we drink a lot of it while we work. Most of the staff live in the surrounding neighborhoods, so we all know the local shortcuts. We don't bother with fancy corporate presentations or polished speeches. We just focus on getting our daily tasks done without making a big fuss about it. If you walk past 15 Mayfair Road, you might see us coming and going throughout the day. We’ve seen many businesses in this area come and go, but we just keep doing our thing. It’s a practical way to live and work. We don't have a lobby with a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and find whoever is available to talk. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
