Kamani Foundry

Kamani Foundry is out in the Aji GIDC area, specifically Phase II on N Road. If you have ever been to an industrial estate, you know what it is like. It is loud, it is hot, and there is always a truck blocking the road somewhere. We have been operating here for a long time. The foundry business isn't exactly clean work. There is soot and the smell of metal everywhere. Our building is just a standard industrial shed like all the others on N Road. We do not have a reception desk or a waiting room. Usually, if someone wants to talk to us, they just walk into the main floor and find one of us near the machines. It is hard work and the days are long. We start early to beat the worst of the heat, but near the furnaces, it does not matter much what time of day it is. We handle a lot of different casting jobs. The floors are concrete and usually covered in sand or metal scraps. We do not bother much with painting the walls or making things look pretty. That is not what we are here for. We just focus on getting the molds right and making sure the pours go smoothly. It is a rough environment but we are used to it. It is just how things get made in this part of Rajkot. Most people don't notice us unless they need something heavy cast in iron.
