Kamala Trading Corporation

We actually operate out of two spots. The main one is 41/2, 'Q' Road over in Belgachia, Howrah. Then we have the city office at 41, N.S. Road, specifically in Room No. G1 on the ground floor. It keeps us moving back and forth quite a bit. The Howrah location is where more of the heavy lifting and storage happens. It’s a bit rough around the edges, with old wooden doors and floors that have seen a lot of boots over the years. The city office on N.S. Road is much smaller and usually quite cramped with samples and ledgers. Being on the ground floor means people are always sticking their heads in to ask questions. We handle a lot of trading, so the inventory changes all the time. One week we might have piles of one thing, and the next it’s something completely different. It’s a bit chaotic, but we have our own way of finding where everything is. The staff has been around for a long time, so we don’t need much instruction. We just get in, check the orders, and start the day. There’s always a lot of shouting and noise outside on N.S. Road, which just becomes background music after a while. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished look. We just want to make sure the trading goes smoothly and the records stay mostly straight.
