Kalyani Petoproducts

Our workshop is located at 84/8 Narayan Roy Road over in the West Bengal area of Kolkata. We’ve been here for a good while now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit. It’s a busy street and things can get pretty loud with the trucks and rickshaws passing by all the time. We focus on our petoproducts here, which basically means we stay busy with the production side of things most of the day. The space isn't huge, but we make it work with what we have. It’s often a bit cluttered with tools and different materials, but we know where every single thing is kept. We don’t have a fancy front office or a receptionist to greet people. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back working on something or checking the latest batch. It’s a bit hot in the afternoons, especially during the humid months, but that’s just part of being in Kolkata. We just get on with it and don't complain much. People from the neighborhood stop by sometimes just to say hello or ask a question. We aren’t running any big ads or anything like that. Word of mouth is usually how people hear about our work. It’s a small operation, just a few of us trying to do a decent job and keep the orders going out on time. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till evening.
