K B Motors is over in the Ballygunge area, inside the Anusuya Building at 62/7 Ballygunge Circular Road. It’s a pretty well-known part of town, and the road outside is always lined with trees and lots of cars going by. We deal with motors and vehicles, so there is usually a bit of oil on the floor and the sound of engines being tested. The office part is inside the building, which is an older structure with a lot of character. We spend our mornings checking the schedules and making sure the mechanics have what they need to get the work done. Ballygunge Circular Road is a busy place, but once you pull into our area, it feels a bit more like a workplace. There is a lot of paperwork to deal with since we are a private limited company, but the real work happens out with the machines. We don't go in for big advertisements or anything like that. People in Kolkata usually find us through word of mouth or because they live nearby and see us every day. The staff here has been around for a long time, and we all just get along with the daily grind of fixing things and talking to owners about their cars. It’s a regular job for us, and we try to keep things moving as smoothly as the traffic outside allows.
