Jyoti Electronics

Our shop, Jyoti Electronics, is at 26 B on Ashutosh Mukherjee Road, right near Lala Lajpat Rai Sarani. This is an older part of the city, and you can really feel the history when you walk down the street. We’ve been in this building for quite a while. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’ve been too busy with repairs to get around to it. It’s a typical electronics shop, with parts and components everywhere you look. We have a small workbench in the back where most of the actual work happens. It’s often cluttered with soldering irons and loose wires. The street outside is always humming with cars and pedestrians. We get a lot of people who have lived in the neighborhood their whole lives coming in to see us. It’s a comfortable place, even if it’s a bit cramped at times. We don’t go for anything fancy like big neon signs or expensive carpets. It’s just a solid floor and plenty of shelves for the stock. We open up every morning and see what the day brings. It’s a steady kind of life. Being on Ashutosh Mukherjee Road means we are right in the middle of things, which we like. It’s just a normal local business doing its thing. Sometimes the street lights flicker outside at night, but our shop stays bright until we close up and head home for the evening.
