Jkn Auto Accessories is situated on Elgin Road, right near the Indian Institute of Engineer. It’s a good spot because there are always students and faculty moving about, and plenty of cars passing through this part of town. We handle a lot of the smaller things that make a car more comfortable or look a bit better. Floor mats, seat covers, light bulbs, and various bits of trim are what we mostly deal with. The shop is often full of stuff, so you have to watch your step between the displays. We aren't a massive garage, just a place where you can pick up what you need for your vehicle. Sometimes we help people fit a new wiper blade or show them how a certain gadget works. It gets a bit dusty with the road being so close, but that’s just how it is here. Most of us here have worked with cars for a long time, so we know which parts tend to break and which ones actually last. We don't do much advertising; people usually find us because they're driving down Elgin Road or they've heard about us from a friend. It's a simple setup, really. We open the shutters in the morning, put some items out on the sidewalk to show what we have, and wait for the day to start. There’s usually a radio playing in the background while we organize the shipment.
