Golden Hue Decor

It’s a bit tricky to find us the first time, but we are in Ashish 2, specifically Flat No. 2D at 969 Jessore Road. Being right across from Diamond Plaza Mall helps people get the general idea of where to turn. Golden Hue Decor is basically where we keep all the samples and rolls of stuff for houses. It’s not a big showroom with lights and mirrors. It’s more of a workspace where we look at fabrics and colors all day. The traffic on Jessore Road is always loud, so it’s actually nice to be tucked away in 2D. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers or just moving heavy rolls around. Sometimes the coffee gets cold because we’re busy measuring something out for a client. We’ve got piles of catalogues everywhere. It looks messy to some people, but we know where everything is. People come up here to figure out what they want for their living rooms or bedrooms. We just show them what we have and tell them what might work. There isn't any fancy sales talk here. If a fabric is too thin, we just say so. It’s better to be honest about it. Working out of this flat means we don’t have huge windows, but the light is enough to see the patterns. Most days, it's just us and the sound of the sewing machines or the tape measure clicking. It’s a steady kind of life at this address.
