You can find us at 127 Sarat Bose Road, right in the Subhas Nagar area of Dum Dum Cantonment. This part of Kolkata has a very specific energy, especially with the airport not being too far away. The 700065 area is always bustling with people moving toward the train or catching buses. Our office is a plain building that doesn’t stand out much from the others on the street. We’ve been here long enough that we don't really notice the noise of the traffic anymore. Inside, it’s mostly rows of desks and some old wooden cabinets that we’ve had since the beginning. We don't go for the modern look. It’s more about what’s useful and what lasts. Most of the staff live nearby, so we’re all locals. We know the best places to get lunch and which shortcuts to take when the main road is blocked. We are just Jessop & Co. and we aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or fancy presentations. We just handle the business that comes our way and try to be fair with everyone. The Kolkata humidity is something we just deal with every day. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or find something to do that doesn't need a computer. It’s just a regular workplace.
