Jekay Group of Companies has its main setup over on Princep Street in Kolkata. We’re on the second floor of Deo Bhaven, specifically at P-50. If you’re looking for us, we share space with D.K.B. & Associates, and Arup Nandi is usually the one you’ll be dealing with. Kolkata is a busy city, and Princep Street is always humming with people and traffic. Our office is a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We handle a bunch of different things under the Jekay name, which keeps the days interesting. It’s not a quiet place; there’s always someone on the phone or files being moved around. Being in the heart of the city means we’re close to everything, even if the streets get a bit crowded during the day. We’ve been operating out of this building for a while now. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens now and then. We don't go in for big marketing campaigns or anything like that. Word of mouth is usually how people hear about us. We just focus on our projects and try to keep things organized. It’s a lot of paperwork and meeting with different people from all over the city. Every day brings something new, whether it’s a logistics issue or a new contract to look over. We just take it as it comes and try to stay on top of the pile. It's a lot of hustle but we manage.
