You can find us at 71/A Netaji Subhas Road in Kolkata. This is a really busy part of the city, right in the 700001 pin code area. We’ve been running Jardine Cargo Management from this location for a while. It’s an old street with a lot of character, and our office is right in the thick of it. The noise from the street is something you just get used to after a week or two. We deal with cargo management, which mostly means a lot of sorting through details and making sure things are where they need to be. Our office isn't particularly modern, but it works for us. We have desks piled with papers and some computers that have seen better days. The staff here are mostly locals who know the city well. We don't use a lot of big words or try to impress anyone. We just take the calls, do the filings, and move on to the next task. It gets humid in the summer, but we keep the windows open or the AC running and just get on with it. There’s a lot of history on Netaji Subhas Road, and we’re just one small part of it. We like being in this part of West Bengal because everything is close by. It’s just a straightforward place where we do our daily work and go home.
