Jardine Cargo Management Pvt. Ltd. is situated at 187, Nivedita Road, near P. Majumdar Road in the Haltu area of Kolkata. We’ve been working out of this spot for a while now. Kolkata is a busy city, and managing cargo here means you have to be ready for anything. Our days are mostly filled with managing schedules and making sure the logistics for various shipments are lined up. It’s not a glamorous job, and the office isn't anything to brag about. It’s just a place where we get our work done. We spend a lot of time dealing with the specifics of cargo handling, which can be quite tedious if you aren't used to it. There’s a lot of coordination between different parties, and sometimes things get a bit delayed because of the city traffic or other issues. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just manage cargo. We’ve got a small crew here in Haltu who knows the local area and how to get things moving through the system. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or a polished brochure. We just focus on the task at hand. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, but it’s what we know. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for years, and we just keep doing what we’ve always done, which is helping people get their goods from one place to another without too much trouble.
