Our office is over at 28 Babu Bagan Lane in Dhakuria. It’s a nice enough spot in Kolkata, though the lane can be a bit narrow sometimes. We work with positioning and surveying systems here. If you come by, you’ll see our shelves are full of tripods and technical cases. We aren't much for fancy office decor. We mostly just have our desks and our equipment. We’ve been helping people in West Bengal with their surveying needs for a good while. The work is mostly about accuracy and making sure the instruments are calibrated right. It’s a lot of back-and-forth between the office and the field sites. The humidity in Kolkata can be tough on the electronics, so we spend a lot of time on maintenance. We don't have a polished sales pitch or a big website. Most of our work comes from people who know us or have seen our guys out on the streets with their levels. We’re just regular people trying to do a technical job well. The team knows the city and the surrounding areas very well. We don’t make big claims about being the most advanced, we just do the job and make sure the measurements are what they need to be. It’s a bit of a niche business, but it keeps us busy every day of the week. There’s always another site to visit and another map to check on. We like being part of the Dhakuria community here.
