You can find us at number 170 in the Functional Industrial Estate over in Patpar Ganj. It is one of those busy places where there is always someone moving something or a large truck idling nearby. Jalex Automotive (P) Ltd. is right in the thick of it all. The workshop gets pretty loud with all the tools and the metal work, but that is just how an industrial area is. We spend our days dealing with parts and engines, getting our hands dirty more often than not. It is a bit of a maze back here, and the dust from the road tends to settle on everything if we leave the shutters up for too long. We don’t have a receptionist sitting at a desk; usually, whoever is closest to the door just wipes their hands on a rag and sees what is needed. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains that will never come out, which is pretty standard for an auto place like ours. We have been here long enough to know all the neighbors and the tea stall guy around the corner. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from the morning until late. Sometimes we stay over to finish a job when things get backed up. Patpar Ganj is a tough area to navigate during the rush hour, but it is where we belong. Just a bunch of guys working on cars and parts.
