Our office is located over at P-45/B on CIT Road. It’s in the Scheme 7M part of Kolkata, which is a busy area to be in. We handle shipping agency work, so there is always a lot of back and forth with ports and different transport people. It gets pretty hectic around here, especially when ships are coming in or leaving. We spend a lot of time on the phone and sending emails to keep track of everything. The team here has been doing this for a long time, so we know the local routes and the usual delays. We aren't a massive corporation with a huge glass building. We just have our space here in 700054 where we get the job done. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks or the internet is slow, but we manage. Most days are just about looking at schedules and making sure the documentation is right. It’s practical work. We don't really do the whole corporate talk thing. We just tell people the status of their cargo and try to help them navigate the port system. Dealing with shipping means things change fast, so we have to stay on our toes. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and looking at maps and lists, but we like being right here in the middle of the city. We’ve got a good view of the street from here.
