Our place is located at 496 on the first floor along Diamond Harbour Road in Behala. We are right across from the Siddeshwari Kali Mandir, so we hear the temple bells quite often. It’s a very busy road with lots of people and buses passing by all the time. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit, but it serves us well. It is a family-run thing, so there are usually a few of us around handling different parts of the work. We deal with various goods and services depending on what the local customers are looking for. It isn't a high-end boutique or a fancy corporate office. We have wooden shelves and old desks that have been here since we started. Sometimes the stairs up to the first floor feel a bit steep after a long day. We know most of the shopkeepers on this stretch of Behala. During the festivals, the whole area gets incredibly packed, and it can be hard to even get to our door. We just take it as it comes. We aren't trying to expand into some massive company. We just want to keep things running smoothly for the folks who have been coming to us for years. It’s a simple life and a simple business, right in the heart of the local neighborhood.
