Jaiprakash Associates

We are over here in Santoshpur, just a bit away from Palbazar. It's an apartment building called Devoki, up on the fourth floor at 4B. This is where Jaiprakash Associates does its thing. People around Jadavpur probably know the area well. It gets a bit crowded near the market, but our spot is okay. We spend most of the day answering calls and dealing with papers. It’s not a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. Just some desks, a few chairs, and us trying to get through the work list before the day ends. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but you get used to it after a while. We have been here for a bit now. There is no big secret to how we work. We just show up in the morning, open the door, and start on whatever needs doing. It’s a quiet enough street, Friends Row. Most of the neighbors know us by now. We don't really do much advertising. People usually find us if they need us. Usually, it's just about keeping things moving along. If someone stops by, they’ll see we are just regular folks working. We keep the kettle going for tea. It's practical. That is how we like it. No need for anything extra. Just the work and the space we have here in Kolkata.
