Jai Balaji Industries Ltd (Jai Balaji Group)

You can find us over at 216 Kabi Satyen Dutta Road in the Mahanagar area of Kolkata. We’re part of the Jai Balaji Group, but this specific office is where our team handles the day-to-day for the industries side. Mahanagar is a bit away from the super crowded center, but it still has that classic Kolkata feel. Our building is a standard one, tucked into the street. It’s not flashy at all. Inside, it’s mostly just us sitting at our desks, dealing with whatever comes up that day. We have a lot of ledgers and some old computers that still work well enough for what we need. The 700 049 area is where we’ve laid our roots. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, but we still make it in every morning. We don’t have a big HR department or a social media manager. We just have people who know how to get things done. We talk to the drivers, we check the manifests, and we keep the wheels turning. It’s a lot of routine, but there’s something nice about knowing exactly what your job is. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers know our names. It’s a small community within a big city, and we’re just happy to be a part of it. The tea from the corner stall is what keeps us going on long afternoons.
