People know us here on Maharshi Debendranath Road. We’ve been running J M Saha Co. for a good while now. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always noise from the street outside. Our building isn't anything fancy to look at, but it does the job. Most days start early before the traffic gets really bad. We spend a lot of time organizing things and making sure the paperwork is sorted out. There are stacks of items around the office that we move from one side to the other. Sometimes the ceiling leaks a little when it rains hard, but we just put a bucket under it and keep going. The staff here has been the same for years, so we all know how the others work. We don't really have a big fancy sign or anything. Most people just find us because they’ve been coming here for a long time. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists. We have a small tea stall just down the road where we go for breaks. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer months. We just open the windows and hope for a breeze. There’s no big secret to how we run things. We just show up, do what needs doing, and then head home when the sun goes down. It’s just a regular local business trying to stay on top of things. Every day is pretty much like the one before it. We don't mind the routine because it's what we've always done here.
