If you head down to Joyrampur Jala Road in Behala, you’ll find our office for Ivrcl Infrastructures & Projects Ltd. We are located at number 68 in this part of West Bengal. It’s a lively neighborhood with a lot of local shops and houses nearby. Our workspace is pretty basic, just a place for us to gather and plan out our construction projects. Kolkata is a city that never really stops, and Behala is no different. We deal with a lot of logistical issues from this office, making sure our infrastructure builds are staying on schedule. The building we are in has been around for some time. Inside, you’ll mostly find stacks of files, some old desks, and a few computers. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a sleek office design. We just want to make sure the roads and projects we are working on get finished. The team here is a mix of long-time staff and some newer faces. We often have tea from the stall down the street while we discuss the day’s tasks. It’s a very grounded way of working. Sometimes the monsoons make the road outside a bit messy, but that’s just life in Kolkata. We keep our focus on the engineering and the labor that goes into big projects. We’re just a bunch of regular people doing our part in the infrastructure world from this little corner of Behala.
