Our spot is at 60/1 Vivekananda Park over in Thakurpukur. If you know Kolkata, you know this area has its own pace. Itd Cementation India Ltd. has been set up here for some time now. We aren't in a high-rise building; it’s more of a local feel. The office gets a bit crowded when everyone is in at once, especially during the rainy season when the streets around Vivekananda Park get a bit damp. We mostly handle the local logistics for the cementation work from this location. It’s a lot of phone calls and ledger entries. The staff here at Itd Cementation India Ltd. are mostly locals who take the bus or walk in. We don't have a receptionist in a suit or anything like that. It’s just a desk and some chairs and a lot of files. We try to keep things organized, but it’s a working office, so there’s always something being moved around. It’s a practical environment. We don't really do the whole polished corporate thing. We just focus on the engineering and ground work that needs our attention. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out and talk about the latest scores. It’s a decent place to work, and we know our way around the neighborhood. Just a team of people doing what they know how to do without any extra fluff. It works for us.
