Ireti Nidhi Limited is tucked away in the Jodhpur Park area of Kolkata. We are located in Tower 1 of the Oak building, specifically Flat 20G. It is on Prince Anwar Shah Road, which is a busy part of the city, but our office feels quite different once you come inside. Being in a flat means it’s a bit more private and quiet compared to a shop on the main road. We started this because we wanted a place where city people could handle their savings without the long queues and cold attitude of big financial institutions. Even though we are in a high-rise, we keep things very grounded. We talk to our members like friends. Most of the people who join us are from the nearby apartments or small businesses in Jodhpur Park. We handle personal savings and small credit needs. It’s a professional setup but we don't wear suits or use big corporate words. We just sit around the table and go over the paperwork carefully. Living in Kolkata can be expensive, so we try to help people find ways to put a little bit away every month. We are not a huge corporation with thousands of branches. We are just this one office in an apartment building, trying to be a helpful resource for the local community in this part of South Kolkata.
