Irc Logistics Ltd

Our office for Irc Logistics Ltd is located at 79 S.P. Banerjee Road in Alambazar. If you’ve ever been to this part of Kolkata, you know the roads are tight and there is always a lot of activity. It is a very old area, and you can feel the history in the buildings around us. We deal with a lot of heavy transport and moving goods for different companies. The air smells like diesel and street food most days. Our space is functional, filled with logbooks and old telephones that still work perfectly. The humidity can be quite something during the monsoon season, and we have to make sure the paperwork doesn't get damp. We have a small courtyard where the drivers park their scooters while they come in to get their papers signed. It is a noisy place, with horns honking and people shouting orders, but that is just how Alambazar is. We don't have any fancy decor or expensive furniture. It's all about having a solid desk and a chair that doesn't squeak too much. Most of the people working here have lived in Kolkata their whole lives. We take our tea breaks seriously and usually talk about the local football matches or the price of fish. It is a gritty, honest way to make a living. We just make sure the trucks get loaded and the routes are planned out as best as we can given the traffic.
