You can find us at 46/24 Becharam Chatterjee Road over in Behala. It’s a residential-feeling area but we have been here at International Combustion(India)Ltd. for a long time. The street is a bit narrow, so when big vehicles come through, everyone has to move. Our building is pretty solid and has been through a lot of seasons. Inside, it's mostly quiet work. We have our files and our computers and a few old cabinets. It’s not the kind of place that has a big sign or a fancy lobby. We just have a small plate on the door. People in Behala know the address. The 700 034 area is where we spend most of our waking hours. We have a routine. We come in, start the machines, and look at what needs to be done. It's not a flashy corporate environment. We have stains on the floor and some of the chairs are a bit squeaky. That is just how a real office looks when people are actually working. We talk to the neighbors and the local shopkeepers. During the puja season, the whole street changes and it gets very crowded. We just work around it. It’s a practical place for a practical company. No frills here, just the daily grind on Becharam Chatterjee Road. There is always a pot of water for anyone who comes in thirsty. We don't bother with much else besides the work itself. It's homey in its own way.
