We are located on the ground floor of a building on D.P.P. Road in Naktala. It’s flat Ga, and it’s a very different vibe from a typical industrial office. Naktala is a residential part of South Kolkata, so we’re surrounded by homes and local grocery shops. You might walk right past us if you weren't looking for the number 26/1A. Being on the ground floor means we see everyone walking by on their way to the market. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have to fit all our files and some smaller parts into a space that was probably meant to be a living room once. We spend a lot of our time coordinating things and making sure the paperwork for the combustion equipment is all in order. It’s a lot of phone calls and ledger entries. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, except for the usual sounds of the city and the occasional festival music from down the street. We’re not a huge corporate office with hundreds of employees; it’s just a handful of us here keeping things running. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay cool when the Kolkata heat gets really intense. Most of our neighbors are used to us being here by now. We don’t put on any airs or graces. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It's just a simple ground floor flat for our work.
