You can find Indo Thai Flexible Tubes Ltd. over on Kyd Street, specifically at Flat No. 17B in Palace Court. It’s a bit of a different setup being in a building like that, but we make it work for what we do. We handle a lot of flexible tubing and various industrial hoses that people need for all sorts of plumbing and machinery. The office is usually cluttered with samples of different diameters and materials. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking emails to make sure the right specs are being sent out to the customers. Since we are in a more central area, the pace feels a bit different than a big factory out in the sticks. We deal with the logistics of getting things from the warehouse to the buyers without getting stuck too long in the city traffic. It’s mostly about keeping track of the inventory and making sure the paperwork is sorted out correctly. Sometimes the boxes pile up near the door when a big shipment comes in, and we all have to pitch in to move things around. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just a handful of us making sure the tubes get where they need to go. We drink a lot of coffee and try to stay on top of the orders every day even when things get a bit disorganized.
