Image Writing Instruments

You’ll find Image Writing Instruments on the first floor of number 3, Amartolla Street. This street is always packed, so getting in and out can be a bit of a challenge. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t mind the noise anymore. Our space is filled with pens, markers, and all sorts of writing tools. It’s a bit cramped because we have so much stock, but we know where everything is. We spend most of the day filling orders and talking to people who come in. It’s a very old-school way of doing things. We don't have a website that does everything for us; it’s mostly manual work. We like the tactile feel of the products we handle. The building itself is quite old, with those high ceilings that you don't see much anymore. We have a small team, and we all pitch in with everything, from cleaning to accounting. There’s no hierarchy really. We just want to make sure the writing instruments we sell are good quality. People in the area know us as the place to go for this kind of stuff. We aren't looking to expand into some massive company. We just like our little spot on Amartolla Street and the steady rhythm of our workdays. It’s a simple life, but we’re happy with it. Our desks are old, the floor is worn down, and there are boxes everywhere, but it’s a place that feels real and honest to us. It is just home for our business.
