Our place is located on Zakaria Street in Kolkata, which is a very crowded part of the city. If you know 35 Zakaria Street, you know how much activity is always going on outside. We deal with paper impex work here. It's mostly about getting paper products in and out and making sure the numbers match up. Idolon Paper Impex Private Limited has been in this spot for a bit. The street is famous for food and other shops, so there is never a dull moment. Inside the office, it is a bit quieter but not by much. We have stacks of samples and ledgers everywhere. It is a bit of a tight space because it's an old building, but it works for what we do. We don't have many employees, just a few people who know the paper trade well. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or use the backup. It is just the reality of working in this part of West Bengal. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just trade paper and try to keep everything moving to the people who buy from us. It’s basic work, day in and day out. We like being in the heart of Kolkata even with all the noise.
