Icon Commotrade Llp

Icon Commotrade Llp is set up at 9/12 Lalbazar Street, right in the Mercantile Building. We are on the second floor in Block E. This building is like a small city in itself because there are so many businesses under one roof. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we get our work done. We have a couple of big tables where we spread out our papers and a few chairs that have seen better days. The walls are a pale color that has faded over the years. We like being in this part of Kolkata because everything is close by, even if the noise is constant. You can hear the trams and the buses on Lalbazar Street all day long. In the mornings, we open up the office and start by clearing off the dust that always seems to find its way in. Then it is just a matter of getting through the emails and the phone calls. We don't have any corporate slogans or big mission statements on the walls. It is just us, a few people working together to keep the business going. We take a lunch break around one o'clock, usually eating something from the local stalls nearby. The afternoon is spent finishing up whatever is left. It is a simple, honest routine that we have been following for quite some time now.
