Icici-Winfra in Kolkata. We are on the 3rd floor at 87/16, Bosepukur Road. The stairs are a bit steep but you get used to them. It’s a busy part of the city. Kolkata always has something going on outside the windows. You can hear the horns and the street vendors from up here if the windows are open. Inside, the office is just desks and chairs and stacks of papers. We deal with whatever comes across the desk that day. It’s not a shiny corporate tower, just a regular floor in an older building. The address is 700-042 if you’re looking for it on a map. We’ve got a small kitchen area where we take turns making tea or eating lunch. Most of us have been here a while so we know the routines. The 3rd floor gets some breeze sometimes which is nice during the humid months. We try to stay focused on the tasks but sometimes we end up chatting about the weather or the traffic on Bosepukur Road. It’s a decent place to work. Nothing too complicated about how we run things here. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s practical and it keeps us busy. We like being in this part of town because there are plenty of food stalls nearby for a quick snack. It’s a simple setup for our daily tasks.
