Icc World Wide

Upper Wood Street is one of those places in Kolkata that has a lot of character. We are located at 1/1 B, and it’s a solid old building. Working at Icc World Wide isn't like being in one of those new tech parks. Here, you can hear the sounds of the city right outside. The walls are thick, and the rooms have high ceilings, which helps when the summer gets really hot. We have our desks set up in a way that makes sense for us, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. There are folders everywhere and calendars pinned to the walls with notes scribbled in the margins. We handle international stuff, so we’re always looking at clocks and worrying about time zones. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we all just take a minute to grab some chai while we wait for it to come back. It’s a small team, so everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We don't use a lot of big words or have fancy meetings. We just sit down, look at the orders, and figure out the way to get things from Kolkata to wherever they need to go. Walking to work from the main road takes a few minutes, and you pass a lot of history on the way. It’s a quiet enough spot for us to focus, but close enough to the middle of everything to stay busy. We’ve been in this building for years and the wooden floors still creak whenever you walk across the room.
