HT YARNS LLP

Our shop, HT Yarns LLP, is tucked away on Tara Chand Dutt Street here in Kolkata. If you know the area, you know how crowded 29B can get sometimes. We’ve been around this neighborhood for a bit, dealing with all kinds of yarn. It’s a bit of a mess in the office sometimes with samples lying around everywhere, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time talking to suppliers and checking the quality of what comes in. The humidity in West Bengal can be a pain for the stock, so we have to be careful about how we store things. It’s a family-style setup, really. Just a few of us making sure the orders go out on time. We don’t go for any of those big corporate meetings. Usually, we just sit around a desk with some tea and figure out the day's plan. Some days are slow, and we just watch the traffic outside on the street. Other days, we can barely keep up with the phone ringing. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Most folks who need yarn know where to find us. It’s practical work. We like the smell of the warehouse and the feel of different threads. It’s what we do. 700073 is our pin code, and we've been at this spot long enough that the tea stall guy knows our order by heart. We just take it one day at a time here.
