We operate out of Flat 301 in the B-Ii block of the Indraprastha Residential Complex. It’s located on VIP Road in the Kaikhali area of Kolkata. The pincode here is 700052. It might seem a bit unusual to have an office in a residential complex, but it works for us. It’s a lot quieter than being right on the main road, though VIP Road is always buzzing with cars and people going to the airport. Hsbc is the name we use for our operations. We spend our days here handling different tasks and keeping the records straight. The building is pretty well-known in Kaikhali, so visitors don’t usually get lost. We don’t have a big lobby or a front desk with a receptionist. You just come up to the third floor. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, some chairs, and a lot of papers. We like the location because it’s easy to get to different parts of Kolkata from here. The atmosphere is pretty informal. We drink a lot of tea and work through our lists. It’s just a group of people trying to get things finished. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just come in, do the work, and go home. Being in Indraprastha makes it feel a bit more like a home than a stiff office, which we prefer anyway. It is just the daily grind for us.
